This indicator light comes on:

  • When the ignition switch or Engine Start/Stop button is turned to the ON position.
    - Illuminates for approximately 3 seconds, then goes off.
  • When there is a malfunction in the ESC system.
    In this case, we recommend that your vehicle be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

This indicator flashes:

  • While the ESC is operating.
