This indicator light comes on:

  • When the vehicle detects the immobilizer transponder in the key with the ignition switch in the ON position.
    - At this time, you can start the engine.
    - The indicator turns off after the engine starts.

This indicator flashes:

  • When there is a malfunction in the immobilizer system.
    In this case, we recommend that you have your vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
