Make sure the vehicle is in P (Park) and apply the parking brake.

Then perform one of the following:

1. Unlock all doors using the door unlock button on the remote key or smart key. Press the button on the luggage compartment door handle and open the luggage compartment door.

2. Press and hold the trunk release button on the remote key or smart key. Press the button on the liftgate handle and open the liftgate.

3. With the smart key on you, press the button on the liftgate handle and open the tailgate.
