Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • Be careful not to damage parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank, and canister) when lifting the vehicle with a lift. (Refer to General Information - Jack Lifting Points and Support Points)
  1. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Drive Belt")
  2. Remove the automatic drive belt tensioner (A). Tightening torque Bolt (B): 81.4–85 N·m Bolt (C): 17.7–22 N·m

  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
