Repair Procedures

Removal

Hyundai Palisade. Repair procedures
  • Be careful not to damage parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank, and canister) when lifting the vehicle with a lift. (Refer to General Information - Jack Lifting Points and Support Points)
  1. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
  2. Remove the front oil seal (A).

Installation

  1. Using the SST (09231-3C100), install the front oil seal.

    • Always use a new oil seal.
  2. Install the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
