Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Raise the vehicle and make sure it is securely supported.
  2. On AWD vehicles, remove the rear differential assembly. (Refer to Propeller Shaft and Axle - "Rear Differential Carrier")
  3. Loosen the nut (A) and remove the stabilizer link.

    Tightening torque: 98.0 - 118 N·m

  4. Remove the stabilizer bar (A).

    Tightening Torque: 44.1–54 N·m

Inspection

  1. Check the rear stabilizer bar for deformation.
  2. Check the ball joint of the rear stabilizer link for damage.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
