Unlocking the Tailgate

To unlock:

1. Take the Smart Key with you.

2. Press and hold the tailgate button on the handle or the tailgate unlock button (3) on the Smart Key for more than one second.

3. The hazard warning lights flash twice. The tailgate unlocks.

The power tailgate unlocks and opens (if equipped).

Information

After unlocking, the tailgate automatically relocks after 30 seconds if it is not opened.
