Components and Component Location

Repair Procedures

DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the lower instrument panel. (Refer to Body - Lower Instrument Panel)
  2. Disconnect the clutch pedal pushrod by removing the clip (A) and washer (B).
  3. Remove the air duct and air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")
  4. Disconnect the clutch pipe (A) and reservoir hose (B) from the clutch master cylinder after removing the retaining ring (C).(LHD)
    (DIRECT DRIVE)
  5. Remove the clutch master cylinder (A) by turning it clockwise. (LHD)
    (DIRECT DRIVE)

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
  2. Perform the air bleeding procedure at the slave cylinder after filling with brake fluid. (Refer to Clutch - Release Cylinder - Adjustment)
