Repair Procedures

DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the transaxle assembly. (Refer to Manual Transaxle System - Manual Transaxle)

  2. Check whether the clutch disc and clutch cover surfaces are worn or cracked.
  3. Make sure the clutch disc facing is not slippery or oily.
  4. Measure the depth from the clutch facing surface to the rivet. If the measured value is below the specified value, replace. Clutch disc thickness (A) [if possible]: 8.7 ± 0.3 mm (0.3425 ± 0.012 in.) Clutch disc rivet depth (B): 0.3 mm (0.0118 in.)

REMEDY

  1. Replace the clutch cover and disc as a set.
  2. If necessary, apply grease to the spline portion of the disc and the spline portion of the transaxle input shaft.
  3. The surface marked SIDE T/M must face the rear of the transaxle.
  4. Install the clutch disc and cover using SST (No.: 09411-1P000).
