Cargo Security Screen

Use the cargo safety screen to cover items stored in the cargo area.

Using the Cargo Security Screen

1. Pull the security screen toward the rear of the vehicle by the handle (1).

2. Insert the guide pin (2) into the guide (3).

Information

Pull the cargo safety screen out by the center handle to prevent the guide pin from coming out of the guide. When the cargo safety screen is not in use:

1. Pull the cargo safety screen back and up to release it from the guides.

2. The cargo safety screen will retract automatically.

Information

The cargo safety screen may not retract automatically if it is not fully extended. Fully extend the cargo safety screen, then slowly allow the screen to retract.

NOTICE

Since the cargo safety screen may be damaged or deformed, do not place luggage on it when it is in use.

WARNING

• Do not place items on the cargo safety screen. Such items may be thrown around inside the vehicle and may injure passengers during an accident or sudden braking.
• Never allow anyone to ride in the cargo area. It is designed for cargo only.
• Maintain vehicle balance and place weight as far forward as possible.
