The power outlet supplies power to mobile phones or other devices designed to operate on the vehicle's electrical system. Devices must consume less than 180 W while the engine is running.
WARNING
Avoid electric shock. Do not place fingers or foreign objects (pins, etc.) into the outlet or touch the outlet with wet hands.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the power outlet:
- Use the power outlet only while the engine is running, and unplug the accessory plug after use. Using the outlet for a long time with the engine off may discharge the battery.
- Use only 12 V electrical accessories with a power consumption of less than 180 W.
- Set the air conditioner or heater to the lowest operating level when using the power outlet.
- Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle's power outlet. These devices may cause excessive static noise in audio, malfunctions in other electronic systems, or devices used in your vehicle.
- Insert the plug fully. If good contact is not established, the plug may overheat and blow the fuse.
- Connect electrical/electronic devices equipped with a battery with reverse current protection. Current from the battery may flow into the electrical/electronic system and cause a system malfunction.
