[A]: Indicator Light, [B]: Charging Pad

On some models, the vehicle is equipped with a wireless smartphone charger.

The system is available when all doors are closed and when the engine is started. The Engine Start/Stop button is in the ACC or ON (or START) position.

To charge a cellular phone

The wireless smartphone charging system only charges smartphones that support the Qi standard. () Check the label on the smartphone or accessory cover, or visit your smartphone manufacturer's website, to confirm that your smartphone supports Qi wireless charging technology.

The wireless charging process starts when you place a Qi-compatible smartphone on the wireless charging pad.

1. Remove all other items, including the Smart Key, from the wireless charging pad. Otherwise, the wireless charging process may be interrupted. Place the smartphone at the center of the charging pad.

2. The indicator light turns orange while the smartphone is charging. The indicator light turns blue when charging is complete.

3. You can turn the wireless charging function on or off in the settings menu on the instrument cluster. Select:

- Setting - User Settings - Convenience - Wireless Charging

If your smartphone does not charge:

- Slightly reposition the smartphone on the charging pad.
- Make sure the indicator light is orange.

The indicator light will flash orange for 10 seconds if there is a malfunction in the wireless charging system.

If this occurs, stop the charging process temporarily and try charging your smartphone again.

The system warns you with a message on the LCD display if the smartphone is still on the wireless charging pad after the vehicle is turned off and the front door is opened.

For some smartphone manufacturers, the system may not give a warning even if the smartphone remains on the wireless charging pad. This is due to a specific characteristic of the smartphone, not a malfunction of the wireless charging system.

Information

For some cell phone manufacturers, the system may not warn even though the cell phone remains on the wireless charger. This is due to the characteristics of the cell phone, not a malfunction of the wireless charging system.

NOTICE
