Floor Mat Anchor(s)
ALWAYS use the floor mat anchors to secure the front floor mats to the vehicle. The anchors on the front floor mats prevent the mats from sliding forward.
WARNING
Do not place additional mats or pads on top of the floor mats. When using all-weather floor mats, remove the carpeted floor mats before installing them. Use only floor mats designed to be secured to the anchors.
WARNING
When installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle, observe the following.
- Be sure to remove the protective film attached to the carpet before installing the floor mat on the front floor carpet. Otherwise, the floor mat may move freely over the protective film, which may cause unintended braking or acceleration.
- Make sure the floor mats are securely attached to the floor mat anchors before driving.
- Do not use ANY floor mats that cannot be securely fastened to the vehicle's floor mat anchors.
- Do not stack floor mats on top of each other (for example, an all-weather rubber mat on top of a carpeted mat). Only one floor mat should be installed in each position.
IMPORTANT - Your vehicle is equipped with floor mat anchors on the driver's side floor, designed to securely hold the floor mat in place. To avoid any interference with pedal operation, HYUNDAI recommends using a HYUNDAI floor mat designed for use in your vehicle and installed as specified.
