Parking Brake Inspection

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of clicks heard when fully applying the parking brake from the released position. In addition, the parking brake must hold the vehicle securely on a sufficiently steep slope independently of other devices. If the lever travel is more or less than the specified value, have an authorized HYUNDAI dealer inspect the parking brake.

Travel: 5 clicks at 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N).
