- Mode
- Configuration States
A. All sensors must be in the Low Line (Base) state. B. In the Low Line (Base) configuration, sensor data is transmitted every 3 minutes 20 seconds (nominal), and pressure is measured every 20 seconds. - Normal Fixed Base State
A. Sensor transmissions continue at the low line (base) rate defined by the configuration until the state is changed by an LF command or by a sensor detecting a condition that requires a temporary change to another state. B. The LF command for this state must include the sensor ID. - Automatic Storage State:
A. This state is a low current consumption state. B. Sensors are in this state when first shipped from the dealer (either on the vehicle or as service parts). C. In this state, the sensor does not measure pressure, temperature, or battery level. D. The sensor will not transmit data in this state unless requested by an initialization command. - Alert State:
A. The sensor automatically enters this state if the measured temperature exceeds 230 °F (110 °C), and thermal shutdown is likely. B. In this state, pressure is measured every 4 seconds, and RF data is transmitted every 4 seconds. C. This state lasts 1 minute if triggered by pressure. D. This state also occurs when a pressure change of 3 psi occurs compared to the last radio transmission.
