  • Smart Trunk operates with a welcome alert if the smart key is detected within 20 to 40 in. (50 to 100 cm) of the trunk.
  • The alert stops if the smart key is located outside the detection area during the detection and alert stage.

✽ NOTICE

  • The Smart Trunk function will not operate if any of the following occurs:
    - The smart key is near a radio transmitter, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with normal operation of the transmitter.
    - The smart key is near a mobile phone, two-way radio system, or cellular phone.
    - A smart key of another vehicle is operated near your vehicle.
  • The detection range may decrease or increase if:
    - One side of the vehicle is raised to replace a tire or inspect the vehicle.
    - The vehicle is parked on a slope or unpaved road, etc.
