Door Locks from Outside the Vehicle

With Door Lock Button

• To unlock the door, push the door lock button (1) to the "Unlock" position. The red mark on the button will be visible.
• To lock the door, press the door lock button (1) to the "Lock" position. If the door is locked properly, the red mark on the door lock button will not be visible.
• To open the door, pull the door handle (2) outward.
• If the driver's (or front passenger's) inside door handle is pulled while the door lock button is in the lock position, the button will unlock and the door will open.
• The doors cannot be locked if the smart key is inside the vehicle and a door is open.

If the power door lock stops working while you are inside the vehicle, try one or more of the following methods to exit:

• Use the door unlock function repeatedly (both electronically and manually) while pulling the door handle.
• Open the other front and rear door locks and handles.
• Lower the front window and use the key to unlock the door from the outside.

WARNING

Do not pull the driver's (or passenger's) inside door handle while the vehicle is in motion.

With Central Door Lock Switch

Operate the central door lock switch by pressing:

• When the door lock button (1) is pressed, all doors of the vehicle will lock.
• When the door unlock button (2) is pressed, all doors of the vehicle will unlock.
• If the smart key is in the vehicle and any front door is open, the doors will not lock even if the door lock button (1) is pressed.

WARNING - Doors

Doors must always be fully closed and locked while the vehicle is in motion to prevent accidental door opening.

WARNING - Unattended Children/Animals

Never leave children or animals unattended in your vehicle. A closed vehicle can become extremely hot, which may result in death or serious injury to children or animals who cannot leave the vehicle unattended.
