Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")
  3. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector (A).
  4. Measure the resistance between the power terminal (5) and the signal terminal (17).

    Specification: 5.1 ± 0.3 Ω

Replacement
If replacement of a VFS-type solenoid valve is required, the valve body assembly must be replaced and the oil pressure must be adjusted. If the solenoid valve is replaced separately, the oil pressure cannot be adjusted without special equipment, and if the oil pressure adjustment procedure is not performed, shift shock or shift delay may occur.
  1. Replace the valve body assembly. (Refer to Hydraulic System - "Valve Body")
