Front Seat Adjustment - Manual

Forward and Backward

To move the seat forward or backward:

1. Pull up and hold the seat slide adjustment lever.

2. Slide the seat to the desired position.

3. Release the lever and make sure the seat is locked in place.

Before driving, adjust the seat and make sure it is securely locked. Try to move the seat forward and backward without using the lever. If the seat moves, it is not locked properly.

Seatback Angle

To recline a seatback:

1. Lean forward slightly and lift the seatback recline lever.

2. Carefully lean back against the seatback and adjust the seatback to the desired position.

3. Release the lever and make sure the seatback is locked. (The lever MUST return to its original position for the seatback to lock.)

Folding the Seatback (Front Passenger Seat)

The front passenger seatback can be folded to make it easier to carry long objects or to increase the cargo area of the vehicle.

To fold the seatback:

1. Lower the front passenger seat headrest to its lowest position. Then slide the seat back.

2. Pull the seatback folding lever (recline lever), then fold the seatback forward. When returning the seatback to the upright position, always check that it is locked by pressing on the upper part of the seatback.

3. To use the front passenger seat, lift and pull the seatback back by pulling the folding lever.

Pull the seatback firmly until it clicks into place. Make sure the seatback is locked in position.

WARNING

• Do not fold the front passenger seat if there are passengers in the 2nd row center and side seats. This may cause injury to passengers by the seat mechanism.
• Be careful not to pinch your hands or fingers in the seat mechanism when folding or unfolding the seat.

Seat Cushion Height

To change the seat cushion height, push the lever up or down.

• To lower the seat cushion, pump the lever several times.
• To raise the seat cushion, pull the lever up several times.
