Blade Replacement
When the wipers no longer clean adequately, the blades may be worn or cracked and must be replaced.
To prevent damage to the wiper arms or other components, do not try to move the wipers by hand.
Non-genuine wiper blades may cause malfunction and/or failure of the wipers. Kia-certified parts are recommended.
Front Windshield Wiper Blade

To inspect or replace the windshield wiper blades and prevent damage to the hood, move the windshield wipers to the service position as follows:
After turning the engine off, move the wiper switch to the single wipe (MIST) position within 20 seconds and hold the switch for more than 2 seconds until the wiper blade is in the fully raised position.
WARNING - Wiper arms
- Do not let the wiper arm drop onto the windshield, as it may chip or crack the windshield.
