Checking Tire Inflation Pressure
1. After driving approximately 7 to 10 km (4 to 6 miles) or about 10 minutes, stop in a suitable place.
2. Connect the fill hose (3) to the compressor (clamp side) directly, then connect the inner hose (3) (opposite side) to the tire valve.
3. Connect the compressor to the vehicle power outlet using the power cable and plug connectors.
4. Adjust the tire pressure to 200 kPa (29 psi). With the ignition ON, proceed as follows.
- To increase the internal pressure: Turn on the compressor, position I. To check the current inflation pressure setting, briefly turn off the compressor.
WARNING
Do not operate the compressor for more than 10 minutes, otherwise the unit may overheat and be damaged.
- To reduce the inflation pressure: Press the button (9) on the compressor.
WARNING - Tire pressure sensor
Do not use sealant not approved by Kia, as this may damage the tire pressure sensors. Sealant on the tire pressure sensor and wheel must be removed when replacing the tire with a new one, and the tire pressure sensors must be inspected by an authorized dealer.
WARNING
Tire pressure must be at least 200 kPa, 2 bar (29 psi). If this is not the case, do not continue driving. Call roadside assistance or have the vehicle towed.
