The climate control air filter installed behind the glove box filters dust and other contaminants entering the vehicle from outside through the heating and air conditioning system. If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter over a period of time, airflow from the vents may decrease, which can cause moisture to build up on the inside of the windshield even when the outside (fresh) air position is selected. If this occurs, we recommend having the climate control air filter replaced at an authorized Kia dealer.

✽ NOTICE

  • Replace the filter according to the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions, such as dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspection and replacement of the climate control air filter may be required.
  • If airflow suddenly decreases, we recommend that the system be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
