To close, lower the trunk lid, then press down on it until it latches. Make sure the trunk lid is securely closed by always checking it by trying to pull it up again.

WARNING - Exhaust Fumes

The trunk lid must always be kept fully closed while the vehicle is in motion. If it is left open or partially open, poisonous exhaust gases may enter the vehicle and may result in serious illness or death.

WARNING

No one should ever be allowed to ride in the luggage compartment. The luggage compartment is a very dangerous place in the event of a collision.
