1. Crash Pad Center Lower Panel

Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")

  2. Remove the crash pad center lower panel.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")

  3. Remove the glove box.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Glove Box")

  4. Remove the crash pad center garnish assembly.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Center Garnish Assembly")

  5. Remove the heater and A/C control unit.

    (Refer to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "Heater and A/C Control") Unit of measure (DATC)")

  6. Using a screwdriver or a trim removal tool, remove the side cover of the garnish [RH] (A).

  7. Loosen the mounting bolts and screws, then remove the crash pad center lower panel (A).

  8. Disconnect the start button connector (A).

  9. Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A) and the lamp switch connector (B).

  10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
