Windshield Washers

With the switch in the OFF position, pull the lever toward you gently to spray washer fluid onto the windshield and operate the wipers for 1-3 cycles.
Use this function when the windshield is dirty.
Washer spray and wiper operation will continue as long as the lever is held.
If the washer does not operate, check the washer fluid level. If the fluid level is low, add an appropriate non-abrasive windshield washer fluid to the washer reservoir.
The washer reservoir filler neck is located at the front of the engine compartment on the passenger side.
CAUTION - Washer Pump
To avoid possible damage to the washer pump, do not operate the washer when the fluid reservoir is empty.
WARNING - Reduced Visibility
Do not use the washer when the temperature is below freezing without first warming the windshield with the defroster; washer fluid may freeze on the windshield and obstruct your view.
WARNING - Wiper Blades and Windshield
- To avoid possible damage to the wipers or windshield, do not operate the wipers when the windshield is dry.
- To prevent damage to the wiper blades, do not use gasoline, kerosene, paint thinner, or other solvents on or near them.
- To avoid damage to the wipers and other components, do not attempt to move the wipers by hand.
