Average Fuel Economy (1)

• The average fuel economy is calculated from the total distance and fuel consumption since the last average fuel economy reset.
  - Fuel economy range: 0 ~ 99.9 km/l, l/100 km, or mpg
• The average fuel economy can be reset either manually or automatically.

✽ NOTICE

Fuel economy may vary significantly depending on driving conditions, driving habits, and vehicle condition.

Manual Reset

To manually clear the average fuel economy, press and hold the RESET or OK button on the steering wheel for more than 1 second when the average fuel economy is displayed.

Automatic Reset (For Cluster Type B, C)

To have the average fuel economy reset automatically whenever refueling, select "Fuel Economy Auto Reset" in the User Settings mode of the LCD display menu (refer to "LCD Modes").

• OFF - You can reset the value manually using the reset button or the off switch.
• After Ignition ON - The vehicle automatically resets the value every 4 hours after the ignition is turned off.
• After Refueling - After refueling more than 6 liters (1.6 gallons) and driving more than 1 km/h, the vehicle will automatically reset the value.
  - The odometer will be reset automatically 4 hours after the ignition is turned off.

✽ NOTICE

The average fuel economy is not displayed for more accurate calculation if the vehicle has driven less than 10 seconds or 50 meters (0.03 miles) since the ignition or the Engine Start/Stop button was turned on.

Instant Fuel Economy (2)

- This mode displays the instant fuel economy over the last few seconds when the vehicle speed is more than 10 km/h.

- Fuel economy range: 0.0 ~ 30 km/l, l/100 km, or 0.0 ~ 50.0 mpg

CAUTION

Avoid driving with an extremely low fuel level (when the fuel level is below "E" or the low fuel warning light is on). Running out of fuel may cause engine misfire and damage to the catalytic converter (if equipped).
