Severe Maintenance Schedule — Turbocharged Models

The following items must be serviced more frequently on vehicles normally used under severe driving conditions. Refer to the maintenance intervals in the table below.

R: Replace

I: Inspect and, after inspection, clean, adjust, repair or replace if necessary

Severe Driving Conditions

A- Repeated short trips of less than 8 km (5 miles) in normal temperatures or less than 16 km (10 miles) in freezing temperatures

B- Extended idling or low-speed driving over long distances

C- Driving on rough, dusty, muddy, unpaved, gravel or salted roads

D- Driving in areas using salt or other corrosive materials, or in very cold weather

E- Driving in severely dusty conditions

F- Driving in heavy traffic areas

G- Repeated driving on hills, downgrades or mountain roads

H - Towing a trailer, using a camper, or carrying a roof rack

I - Driving as a patrol car, taxi, other commercial use, or towing a trailer

J- Driving at speeds over 170 km/h

K - Frequent driving in stop-and-go conditions
