Inspection

Remove the overhead console lamp assembly, then check continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified, replace the map lamp switch.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Loosen the 2 screws securing the map lamp (A).
  3. Disconnect the sunroof switch connector (A) and the lamp switch connector (B), then remove the map lamp assembly.
  4. If the bulb needs to be replaced, replace the bulb (C) after disconnecting the connectors.

Installation

  1. Install the map lamp after connecting the roof sunroof switch connector and the lamp connector.
  2. Install the lens by tightening the 2 screws.
