Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the lower crash pad panel. (Refer to Group BD - "Crash Pad")
  3. Remove the side hazard switch assembly (A), as shown in the illustration below.
    Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  4. Disconnect the rheostat connector (A) from the lower hazard switch.
  5. Turn on the rheostat switch and check continuity between the terminals.
