Description
The Side Impact Sensor (SIS) system consists of two Pressure-type SIS (P-SIS), which are installed in the center of each front door module (left and right), and two SIS, which are installed on each center pillar (left and right). The pressure-type side impact sensor is also called the P-SIS because it detects the pressure caused by a collision at its installation location. The side impact sensor is also called the A-SIS because it detects acceleration. The SRSCM determines airbag deployment and deployment timing through the SIS collision signal when a collision occurs.Test yourself
