  1. Turn the ignition on.
  2. Remove the front bumper. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper")
  3. Disconnect the ambient temperature sensor.
  4. Check the resistance of the ambient air temperature sensor between terminals 1 and 2, and check whether it changes as the ambient temperature changes.

  5. If the measured resistance does not meet the specification, replace the ambient air temperature sensor with a known good sensor and check operation.
  6. Replace the ambient air temperature sensor if it is determined to be the cause of the problem.
