The in-vehicle temperature sensor is located on the lower instrument panel pad. The sensor contains a thermistor that measures the interior temperature. The signal is determined by a resistance value that changes according to the detected interior temperature, and it is sent to the heater control unit, which uses this signal to adjust the interior temperature to the set value.
