Compressor Installation

Make sure the compressor mounting bolt is the correct length and is tightened properly. Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.

Tightening torque: 20.00 ~ 33 N·m

Install in the reverse order of removal.

A.	If installing a new compressor, drain all the refrigerant oil from the removed compressor and measure its volume. Subtract the drained oil volume from the initial capacity. The result is the amount of compressor oil that must be drained from the new compressor (through the suction port).

B.	Replace the O-rings with new ones at each fitting, and apply a thin coat of refrigerant oil before installing them. Be sure to use the correct O-rings for R-134a to prevent leakage.

C.	To prevent contamination, do not return oil to the container after dispensing and never mix it with other refrigerant oils.

D.	Immediately after using the oil, close the container cap tightly to prevent moisture absorption.
