Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the lower airbag switch assembly (A) by pressing on it.
  4. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the hazard switch assembly, lower.
  5. Remove the dimmer switch (A).
  6. Check the dimmer switch operation. If the light brightness changes smoothly without flickering when the dimmer switch is turned on, the dimmer switch is considered to be operating normally.
