~1min read

■ Type A

■ Type B

The power outlet is designed to supply power to portable devices.

Devices must draw less than 10 amps with the engine running.

  • Use the power outlet only with the engine running, and unplug the accessory after use. Using the outlet for a long period with the engine off may discharge the battery.
  • Use only 12 V electrical accessories whose power consumption does not exceed 10 A.
  • Set the air conditioner or heater to the lowest operating level when using the power outlet.
  • Close the cover when the outlet is not in use.
  • Some electronic devices may cause electronic interference when connected to the vehicle power outlet. These devices may cause excessive static noise and malfunctions in other electronic systems or devices used in your vehicle.
  • Insert the plug fully. If a good connection is not made, the plug may overheat and blow the fuse.
  • Connect battery-powered electronic devices with reverse current protection. Current from the battery may enter the vehicle's electrical/electronic system and cause a system malfunction.

WARNING! Electric Shock

Do not insert your finger or foreign objects (pen, etc.) into the power outlet and do not touch it with wet hands. You may receive an electric shock.
