Seat Heating

~2min read

■ Front Seat • Type A

■ Front Seat • Type B

■ Rear Seat

The seat warmers are designed to warm the front seats in cold weather. With the ignition switch in the ON position, press either switch to warm the driver's or front passenger's seat.

In mild weather or when seat warmers are not required, keep the switches in the OFF position.

► Temperature Control (Manual)

• Each time you press up or down on the switch, the seat temperature setting changes as follows:

■ Front Seat

■ Rear Seat

• The seat warmer defaults to the OFF position whenever the ignition switch is turned on.

► Temperature control (automatic)

The seat heater automatically starts to control the seat temperature to prevent low-temperature burns after manual operation.

You can manually press the button to increase the seat temperature. However, it will soon return to automatic mode.

  • When the switch is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds while the seat warmer is operating, the seat warmer turns off.
  • The seat warmer defaults to the OFF position each time the engine is started/stopped. The button is in the ON position.

✽ NOTICE

When the seat warmer switch is in the ON position, the seat warmer system automatically turns on or off depending on the seat temperature.

WARNING. The seat warmer is hot.

The seat warmer can cause burns even at low temperatures if used for a long period of time. Never allow passengers who are unable to care for themselves to be exposed to the risk of seat warmer burns. These include:

1. Infants, children, elderly persons, disabled persons, or ambulatory patients

2. Persons with sensitive skin or who burn easily

3. Tired persons
