Reifendruck prüfen
1. Stop at a suitable location after driving approx. 7 to 10 km (or 10 minutes).
2. Connect the filler hose (3) of the compressor (side with the attached clamp) directly to the tire valve, then connect the other end of the filler hose (3) to the tire valve.
3. Schließen Sie den Kompressor mit dem Kabel und den Verbindern an der Fahrzeugbatterie an.
4. Set the tire pressure to 200 kPa or more. Turn the ignition key to the ON position and continue as follows.
- Increasing tire pressure: Switch the compressor to position I. To check the current tire pressure, switch the compressor off briefly.
WARNING
Do not run the compressor for longer than 10 minutes, otherwise the unit may overheat and be damaged.
- Reducing tire pressure: Press the button (9) on the compressor.
WARNING
If the tire pressure does not hold, drive the vehicle a second time and refer to the section "Distributing the Sealant" on page 7-29, then repeat steps 1 to 4. Use of the TMK is not effective for larger tire damage (size over 4 mm). Contact a qualified workshop if the tire cannot be made roadworthy with the Tire Mobility Kit. Kia recommends visiting a Kia dealer/service partner.
WARNING
The tire pressure must be at least 200 kPa. Otherwise, do not continue driving. In this case, call a roadside assistance or towing service.
