Jack Installation/Removal

7. When jacking up the vehicle, the jack base plate must be positioned vertically under the jacking point.

8. On vehicles with manual transmission, engage reverse gear. On vehicles with automatic or dual-clutch transmission, move the selector lever to P.

9. Use the jack only on level and firm ground.
