Headlight Delay Function
The headlamps (and/or tail lamps) remain on for the same number of minutes (Type A: 20 minutes, Type B: 5 minutes) after the ignition key is removed or turned to ACC or LOCK position. However, if the driver's door is opened and closed, the headlamps turn off after 15 seconds. The headlamps can be turned off by pressing the lock button on the transmitter or Smart key twice, or by turning the headlamp switch off or to the Auto light position.
You can activate or deactivate the headlamp delay function. Refer to "User Settings" in this chapter.
CAUTION
If the driver exits the vehicle through another door (other than the driver's door), the Battery Saver function does not operate and the Headlamp Delay function is not automatically canceled. As a result, the battery may be discharged. In this case, be sure to turn off the lamps before exiting the vehicle.
