When the headlamp switch is in the ON or AUTO position and all doors (and the tailgate) are closed and locked, if you press the unlock button on the transmitter or Smart key, the headlamps will turn on for approximately 15 seconds.

If the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, the function may operate only at night.

During this time, if you press the unlock button again or the lock button on the transmitter or Smart key, the headlamps will turn off immediately.

You can activate or deactivate the headlamp welcome light function. Refer to "User Settings" in this chapter.

✽ NOTICE

The front fog lamps and warning indicator may illuminate when the headlamp switch is turned on. In this case, we recommend that you have the system checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
