How the System Works (Exit Mode)

Exit mode operates under the following conditions:

• When the vehicle speed is below 5 km/h for the first time after the engine has started.
• After completing parallel parking with the Smart Parking Assist System.

1. Activate the Smart Parking Assist System. The system

The gear selector lever must be in P (Park) or N (Neutral).

2. Select the exit mode.

3. Check the surroundings.

4. Steering wheel control

(1) Shift as instructed on the LCD display.
(2) Move slowly with the brake pedal applied.

5. Exit complete

If necessary, adjust the position of the vehicle manually.

• Before activating the system, check that the conditions allow the use of the system.
• For safety, always apply the brake pedal except when driving.
