Fully park your vehicle according to the instructions on the LCD display. If it is necessary, manually operate the steering wheel to fully park your vehicle.

✽ NOTICE

The brake pedal must be pressed by the driver when parking the vehicle.

The system may be canceled under the following conditions:

  • Ignoring the gear shift message and driving the vehicle approximately 150 cm (59 in.).
  • The front and rear parking sensor warning sounds (distance from object is within 30 cm: continuous warning sound) sound simultaneously.
  • 6 minutes have passed after the vehicle was operated with the Smart Parking Assist System.
  • The shift lever is moved to P (Park) or R (Reverse) while searching for a parking space.
