Replacing an Inside Panel Fuse

~1min read

1. Turn the ignition key to OFF and turn off all other switches.

2. Open the fuse panel cover.

3. Remove the suspect fuse. Use the fuse puller provided in the fuse block in the engine compartment.

4. Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown.

5. Insert a new fuse of the same rating, and make sure it fits firmly into the clips.

If it fits loosely, we recommend that you contact an authorized Kia dealer.

If you do not have a spare, use a fuse of the same rating from a circuit that you do not need to operate the vehicle, such as the cigar lighter fuse.

If the headlights, fog lights, turn signal lights, position lights, or interior light do not work and there is nothing wrong with the bulbs, we recommend that you consult an authorized Kia dealer.
