Phonebook List Recommendations

1) Do not store entries with a single name (for example, "Bob", "Mom", "Kim", etc.). Instead, always use full names (including first and last name) in the phonebook (for example, use "Jacob Stevenson" instead of "Dad").

2) Do not use abbreviations (i.e., use "lieutenant" instead of "Lt." or "sergeant" instead of "Sgt.").

3) Do not use acronyms (i.e., "County Finance Department" instead of "CFD").

4) Do not use special characters (such as "@", "hyphen -", "asterisk *", "ampersand &").

5) If a name is not recognized from the phonebook, change it to a more descriptive name (for example, use "Grandpa Joseph" instead of "Pa Joe").

Skipping Prompts

While the prompt is displayed, briefly press the buttonkey on the steering wheel remote control.

The prompt will end immediately and a beep will sound. After the beep, speak the voice command.

Restarting Voice Recognition

While the system is waiting for a command, briefly press the buttonkey on the steering wheel remote control.

The waiting state for a command will end immediately and a beep will sound. After the beep, speak the voice command.
