Description

It automatically searches for the sensor location and learns the new sensor. To check for system or vehicle malfunctions, use sensor information, distance, noise, automatic learning status, vehicle battery status, and internal receiver status.

Mode
  1. Initial Condition
    • The receiver is a single component; replacement parts must be in the initial state.
    • Platform information and the identification sensor are not entered.
  2. Normal Operating Conditions
    • To check tire pressure or DTCs, the receiver must be in normal operating condition.
    • Check the sensor location and information via the receiver.

Operation

  1. Normal operation
    • After the ID process for all four sensors is successfully completed, the wheel positions are entered into memory.
    • If there is pressure loss or air leakage before automatic learning is completed, identify the previously learned sensor ID.
    • Spare tire inflation and DTC status are not displayed.
  2. General conditions for learning a new sensor.
    • The receiver automatically determines the locations of the four sensors.
    • The receiver must receive a sensor that is not temporary.
