Mirrors
Interior Rearview Mirror
Adjust the rearview mirror to center the view through the rear window. Make this adjustment before starting to drive.
WARNING
Rear View
Do not place objects on the rear seat or cargo area that will interfere with your view through the rear window.
WARNING
Do not adjust the rearview mirror while the vehicle is moving. This may cause loss of control and an accident which may result in death, serious injury, or property damage.
WARNING
Do not modify the interior mirror or install a wide mirror. This could cause injury during an accident or airbag deployment.
Day/Night Rearview Mirror

Make this adjustment before driving and when the day/night lever is in the day position (1).
Pull the day/night lever toward you (2) to reduce glare from vehicles behind you when driving at night.

Outside Rear View Mirror
Be sure to adjust the mirror angles before driving.
Your vehicle is equipped with both left-side and right-side outside rearview mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted remotely using the remote mirror switch. The mirror heads can be folded back to prevent damage during an automatic car wash or when driving on a narrow street.
WARNING
Outside Rearview Mirrors
- The outside rearview mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they appear.
- Use the interior rearview mirror or direct observation to determine the actual distance of following vehicles when changing lanes.
CAUTION
Do not scrape ice from the mirror; this may damage the glass surface. If ice prevents mirror movement, do not force the mirror to adjust. To remove ice, use an anti-icing spray or a sponge or soft cloth with very warm water.
CAUTION
If the mirror is frozen, do not force the mirror to adjust. Use an approved aerosol de-icer (not engine coolant antifreeze) to free the frozen mechanism, or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
WARNING
Do not adjust or fold the outside rearview mirrors while the vehicle is moving. This may cause loss of control and an accident which may result in death, serious injury, or property damage.
Remote Control
Electric Type

The electric remote control mirror switch allows adjustment of the left and right outside rearview mirror position. To adjust either mirror, the ignition switch must be in the ACC position.
To adjust either mirror, press the R or L button (1) to select the right side mirror or the left side mirror, then press the corresponding point ( ▲ ) on the mirror adjustment control to move the selected mirror up, down, left, or right.
After adjustment, press the R or L button again to prevent unintentional adjustment.
CAUTION
- The mirrors stop moving when they reach the maximum adjustment angle, but the motor continues to run as long as the switch is pressed. Do not hold the switch longer than necessary, or the motor may be damaged.
- Do not attempt to adjust the outside rearview mirror by hand. Doing so may damage the components.
Folding the Outside Rearview Mirror

Electric Type (if equipped)
To fold the outside rearview mirror, press the button.
To unfold it, press the button again.
CAUTION
The electric outside rearview mirrors operate even when the ignition switch or the Engine Start/Stop button is in the OFF position. However, to prevent unnecessary battery discharge, do not adjust the mirrors longer than necessary when the engine is not running.
CAUTION
If this is an electric type outside rearview mirror, do not fold it by hand. This may cause motor failure.

Manual Type
To fold the outside rearview mirror, hold the mirror housing, then fold it toward the rear of the vehicle.
