The Rear Parking Assist System assists the driver when reversing by sounding an audible warning if an object is detected within 120 cm (47 in.) behind the vehicle.

This system is a supplemental system and does not replace the need for the driver's care and attention. The sensing range and objects detectable by the rear sensors (➀) are limited. Whenever reversing, pay as much attention to what is behind you as you would if the vehicle did not have a rear parking assist system.

The Rear Parking Assist System is only a supplemental feature. Operation of the Rear Parking Assist System may be affected by several factors (including environmental conditions). It is always the driver's responsibility to check the area behind the vehicle before and during reversing.
