CAUTION
- Try not to run the engine at high idle speed immediately before turning off the engine.

- For vehicles with an automatic transmission, make sure the shift lever is in P (Park) when parking the vehicle. Otherwise, the vehicle may move due to external forces.
WARNING
Do not park the vehicle on a steep hill. This may cause the vehicle to move.
Cold Start Assist System (Flex Fuel Vehicle, for Brazil and Paraguay)
If you start an engine equipped with the flex fuel system when the outside temperature is low (below 20 °C), the cold start assist system will operate automatically depending on operating conditions.
To start an FFV (Flex Fuel Vehicle) when the engine is cold and the outside temperature is low (below 20°C), there must be gasoline in the tank. For refueling with gasoline, see "Gasoline Tank in the Engine Compartment (Flex Fuel Vehicle - for Brazil and Paraguay)" on page 4-30 and "Gasoline Engine" on page 1-03.
