In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read
- In an emergency situation, the brake system enters a standby state for a quick response to the driver depressing the brake pedal.
- The FCA system provides additional braking force for optimal braking performance when the driver depresses the brake pedal.
- Brake control is automatically canceled when the driver rapidly presses the accelerator pedal, or when the driver sharply turns the steering wheel.
- Brake control is automatically canceled when the risk factors disappear.
CAUTION
The driver should always exercise caution when driving the vehicle, even if there is no warning message or warning chime.
WARNING
The FCA brake control cannot completely stop the vehicle or avoid all collisions. The driver is responsible for safe driving and vehicle control.
WARNING
The FCA system logic operates within certain parameters, such as the distance from the vehicle ahead, the speed of the vehicle ahead, and the speed of the driver's vehicle. Certain conditions, such as bad weather, road conditions, and system limitations may affect FCA system operation.
WARNING
Never drive with a dangerous intent to activate the system.
