Filter Inspection

The cabin air filter should be replaced according to the maintenance schedule.

If the vehicle is operated in cities with heavily polluted air or on dusty, rough roads for a prolonged period, inspect it more frequently and replace it sooner.

When replacing the climate control air filter, replace it in accordance with the following procedure, and be careful not to damage other components.

Cleaning

   Remove the climate control air filter.

   Make sure the climate control air filter is not excessively dirty.

   When cleaning the climate control air filter, blow it out with compressed air as shown in the illustration.

   

Replacement

   Remove the glove box.

   Remove the filter cover (A) by pressing the handle.

   

3. 3

   Replace the air filter (A) according to the replacement cycle specified in the owner's manual. When replacing, pay attention to the direction of the air filter.

   Install in the reverse order of removal.
